I made it first time for the Thanks Giving in 2012. The Indian touch of spices I used in this recipe gives a mouthwatering aroma and of course the wonderful taste. I propose to use this as a starter or a side dish. I used it with a bunch of potatoes i baked along with it as a dinner for the thanks giving&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><b style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6em;\">Ingredients<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Chicken\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 whole<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0: 2 Tbl sp<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tbl sp<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 T sp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger-garlic paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tbl sp<\/li>\n<li>Oil\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1Tbl sp<\/li>\n<li>Lemon.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 : Of 1 full<\/li>\n<li>Garam masala\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bd T sp<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Method<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skin-out the whole chicken.<\/li>\n<li>Put deep gashes in between especially in the leg and breast parts, so the masala can\u00a0easily penetrate in.<\/li>\n<li>Clean the chicken well and pat dry with a kitchen towel.<\/li>\n<li>Make a smooth paste of the above masala ingredients, and apply that into the chicken.<\/li>\n<li>Keep it for marinating; marinating is the main part. I would keep for marinating for minimum 8 hours.( first 6-7 hours in the refrigerator, and rest of the time in room temperature). F.<\/li>\n<li>Place the chicken in an oven safe dish or aluminum tray.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the tray with an\u00a0 aluminum foil, and bake for 1 hour,<\/li>\n<li>Take the chicken out and flip it, cover the chicken and bake for another 1 hour.<\/li>\n<li>Take out the oozed masala juice.
