It is commonly eaten in Kerala. In Kerala cuisines, its prepared either as masala or with shredded fried coconut (\u0d2a\u0d40\u0d30\u00a0). (No need for add the water, the squid itself ooze the water.)<\/li>\n<li>Heat a pan (kadai) on the stove and pour the oil<\/li>\n<li>Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onions along with ginger , garlic and green chilli .<\/li>\n<li>Saute it until the color changes to brown.<\/li>\n<li>Add the tomato pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Fry for another 2 to 3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the dry roasted masala mix and fry for another 4 to 5 minutes in a low flame.
