This ice stick is very common in summer vacation time during my childhood days, that we used to kill the summer heat with a few pennies\u2026. The preparation is a tasteful blend of semiya (vermicelli) with milk and sugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Semiya (Vermicelli) \u00a0 : \u00bc Cup<\/li><li>Sugar \u00a0 : \u00bc Cup<\/li><li>Milk powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tbl- Sp.<\/li><li>Vanilla essence : 1\/8 T -Sp.<\/li><li>Milk \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 3 \u00bc Cup<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/ISt1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4769\" width=\"507\" height=\"381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/ISt1.jpg 576w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/ISt1-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/ISt1-150x113.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 507px) 100vw, 507px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dry roast semia till golden in low flame. I used roasted semia, but still need dry roast for about 30 seconds in low flame.<\/li><li>In a sauce pan add milk along with milk powder and boil it.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Once boiled well, reduce the flame and add the fried semiya and mix it well without any lumps.<\/li><li>Cook it until soft, do not overcook the semiya (don\u2019t forget to stir in-between).<\/li><li>Now add the sugar and boil for another 2-3 minutes.<\/li><li>Mix it well and take it out from the stove.<\/li><li>Let it cool completely and pour the mixture into molds.<\/li><li>Keep it in the freezer for setting.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/MP31.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4770\" width=\"564\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/MP31.jpg 745w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/MP31-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/MP31-150x67.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 564px) 100vw, 564px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tips:-<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tips:<\/li><li>it took me 4 hours to set.
