The dark\u00a0<em>caramel<\/em>\u00a0gives the necessary bitter edge to balance the sweet richness of the ice-cream.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Whipping cream\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00a03 cups<\/li>\n<li>Sugar\u00a0\u00a0 :\u00a0 2.5 cup (adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Vanila essence : 1 T sp<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For caramel<\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Sugar\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bc cup<\/li>\n<li>Hot water : \u00bc cup<\/li>\n<li>Butter : 2 T-sp<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a sauce pan add the sugar and 2 Tbl-sp of hot water and let it boil, once the color changed into dark, switch off the flame and add the hot water a little at a time and add the butter and mix it . (don&#8217;t pour the water together as it may splash)<\/li>\n<li>Wait for it to cool completely .<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl, add the cream along with sugar and vanilla essence; whip it with a hand mixer until frothy.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the caramel and give a nice stir\/ whip it in a very slow speed.<\/li>\n<li>In a freezer safe dish, pour the mix and close it with a plastic wrap &#8211; keep it in the freezer for about 3 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Take it out and whip it again and keepback in the freezer, repeat the same after another 3 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Then keep it in the freezer for about 6 hours or until set.<\/li>\n<li>While serving pour some caramel syrup on top of the ice-cream.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/caramel-ice-cream\/cic\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3842\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3842\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/CIC.jpg\" alt=\"CIC\" width=\"800\" height=\"265\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/CIC.jpg 800w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/CIC-150x50.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/CIC-300x99.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A home and hence healthy approach to make delicious Caramel Ice-cream. \u00a0A worth try for cooking lovers to feed their kids for summer.
