The \u00a0the blend of Oats with coconut gets us a delicious breakfast, can be taken raw or mixed with a piece of well ripped banana.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Oats : 2.5 Cups<\/li>\n<li>Grated Coconut : 1 Cup (Adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Water : \u00bd Cup( Adjust)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grind the oats into a coarse powder.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl, add a little water, enough salt and mix it.<\/li>\n<li>Add the oats into the bowl along with \u00bd cup of coconut and mix it, then sprinkle a little water and make a moistened puttu podi, the consistency should be like bread crumbs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/oats-puttu\/oatsp\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3640\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3640\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/OatsP.jpg\" alt=\"OatsP\" width=\"800\" height=\"356\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/OatsP.jpg 800w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/OatsP-150x67.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/OatsP-300x134.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boil water in a puttu maker\/pressure cooker. (I used coconut shell for making the puttu, you can use your puttu maker)<\/li>\n<li>First add a little coconut then oats (may have multiple layers), finish with a coconut layer and close it.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the coconut shell in the stem of the pressure cooker.<\/li>\n<li>Steam it until the oats is completely cooked. It need only \u00bd cup of water for making the puttu mixture.
