dinners.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>I<\/strong><b>ingredients<\/b><\/p>\n<p><em>For Shrimp\/Chemmeen masala:-<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Shrimp \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Lb<\/li>\n<li>Chopped Onion \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 3 (medium)<\/li>\n<li>Chopped green chilli : 3<\/li>\n<li>Crushed ginger &amp; garlic : 1 Tbl Sp<\/li>\n<li>Grated Coconut : 1.5 Cup<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder : \u00bc T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Chilly powder : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder : 1 T- Sp<\/li>\n<li>Oil : 1 Tbl _ Sp<\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Garam Masala : \u00bd T- Sp<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For Puttu:-<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Rice flour\/puttu podi : 3 Cup<\/li>\n<li>Water<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Grated Coconut : 2 Cup(Adjust)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>For Masala<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a pan add shrimp along with a pinch of turmeric powder, salt, \u00bc cup of water and \u00bc T-sp of garlic paste.<\/li>\n<li>With the lid-on, cook it until soft (~10 to 12 min), if any extra water, dry it keeping the lid off.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a pan and saut\u00e9 onion along with ginger garlic ,some salt and green chilli, until the onion became translucent.<\/li>\n<li>Then add chilli powder, pepper powder and turmeric powder; fry it for a minute .<\/li>\n<li>Add the cooked shrimp and grated coconut; close the lid and cook it for about 3-4 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Finally add the curry leaves, garam masala and mix it well; turn of the puttu<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a wide vessel, add the rice flour along with salt and 1.5 cup of coconut and mix it.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle water a little at a time and make a moistened puttu podi , it should looks like bread crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Boil water in a puttu maker\/pressure cooker.<\/li>\n<li>Meantime in the puttu cylinder add some coconut then chemmeen masala and rice flour mix repeating the same as you like for layers.<\/li>\n<li>Put the lid and keep the cylinder in the puttu maker ( I used the pressure cooker puttu maker ,keeping the puttu maker in the stem of the pressure cooker)<\/li>\n<li>Steam until the rice flour is fully cooked (typically 1-2 min after you start seeing the steam coming out through the top of the puttu cylinder).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a
