The medium consistent gravy makes this a perfect combination to go with Indian breads and also for boiled rice.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>For masala<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Green chilly : 5<\/li>\n<li>Sliced onion : 4 (medium)<\/li>\n<li>Tomato : 1 big<\/li>\n<li>Garlic paste : 3 T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger paste : 1 T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder\u00a0 : 2 Tbl-sp (adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder\u00a0 : \u00bc T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Coriander powder\u00a0 : 1 \u00bd T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Garam masala\u00a0 : \u00bd T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Oil\u00a0 : 1 \u00bd Tbl-sp (adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For marinating<\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"13\">\n<li>Chicken : 1 \u00bd kg<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder\u00a0 : 1 \u00bd T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder : \u00bc T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger,garlic paste\u00a0: 1 T-sp<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For grinding<\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"17\">\n<li>Cashew Nuts : \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li>Cardamom\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Cloves : 2<\/li>\n<li>Cinnamon\u00a0 : \u00bc inch<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients mentioned and keep it for minimum an hour. I prefer overnight marinating in the fridge for making the chicken tender and tasty.<\/li>\n<li>In a pan \/ kadai add oil and saut\u00e9 the onions adding a little salt until light brown.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the green chilli, ginger , garlic paste and fry it until the raw smells is gone.<\/li>\n<li>Now add the chopped tomato and saut\u00e9 it till well smashed.<\/li>\n<li>Add the chilli powder , coriander powder along with turmeric powder and fry it for about 2 minutes; and add the marinated chicken and mix it well.<\/li>\n<li>Now add \u00bd cup of water and close the lid and cook it.<\/li>\n<li>Stir it in regular intervals.
