It is a typical vegetarian alternative to chicken masala. Paneer Butter Masala\u00a0goes best with\u00a0naan and tandoori rotis but can also be served with\u00a0rice dishes. The preparation is little bit time consuming but is worth for its taste and richness. Water should cover the tomatoes and let it boil. Can see the skin split from the tomatoes, that is the time to take the tomatoes from the water and rest it for cooling completely.<\/li>\n<li>Then take the skin out and roughly cut the tomatoes and put it in the mixie and grind it to smooth pur\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/paneer-tikka-masala\/tomatopur\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2989\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2989\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TomatoPur.jpg\" alt=\"TomatoPur\" width=\"640\" height=\"414\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TomatoPur.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TomatoPur-150x97.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/TomatoPur-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a pan add 2 Tbl-sp of butter and add roughly chop the onion , ginger and garlic paste mentioned for grinding and fry it until brown color.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for it to cool completely and grind it along with cashew nuts to medium consistency (not too paste or coarse) .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/paneer-tikka-masala\/on23\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2990\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2990\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/On23.jpg\" alt=\"On23\" width=\"640\" height=\"407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/On23.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/On23-150x95.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/On23-300x191.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a big pan\/ Kadai add \u00bc cup of butter\u00a0and splutter the jeera, once it spluttered add the sliced onion along with green chilli, ginger garlic paste and fry it until brown.<\/li>\n<li>Then add chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder along with 1 Tsp of garam masala and fry it for about 1 minute.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the ground onion paste along with tomato pur\u00e9e and salt and mix well adding oil little at a time in-between.<\/li>\n<li>Add the muttor ( peas) while keep on stirring the mix, cook for about 30-40 minutes.
