I tasted dragon chicken first time in a restaurant back in my Chennai days \u2026. I was so attracted this taste and hence this happened to be one of my ToDo recipes for long time. I am happy that it came out so well here and the entire family enjoyed this nostalgic taste.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>For marinating:-<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Chicken\u00a0 : 2 kg<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Soy sauce\u00a0 : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli sauce\u00a0 : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Vinager\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 T-sp<\/li>\n<li>red chilli paste\u00a0 : 3 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Egg\u00a0 : \u00a01<\/li>\n<li>Corn flour : \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste\u00a0 : 1 \u00bd Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For sauce:-<\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"11\">\n<li>Oil : \u00a03 Tbl-sp (adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Chopped ginger : 1 \u00bd Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Garlic paste : 1 \u00bd Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Chopped green chilly\u00a0:5<\/li>\n<li>Onion ( big) : \u00a01<\/li>\n<li>Bell peppers : 2<\/li>\n<li>Green onion\u00a0 : 8 stems<\/li>\n<li>Cashew nuts : 1 Cup<\/li>\n<li>Soy sauce : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli sauce : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Vinegar\u00a0 : 1 T sp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli paste : 3 Tbl-sp adjust<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Method:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut the skinless\/boneless chicken into strips (about 1 x 0.25 inch size) and wash it well.<\/li>\n<li>In a big bowl add the ingredient mentioned for marinating (except chicken) and mix it.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the chicken pieces and mix it well to coat all the masalas into the chicken. Keep it for minimum 1 hour .<\/li>\n<li>Heat enough oil to fry the chicken and fry it until golden color.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/dragon-chicken\/dckn1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2893\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2893\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN1.jpg\" alt=\"DCKN1\" width=\"583\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN1.jpg 583w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN1-150x123.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN1-300x247.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 583px) 100vw, 583px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a big pan add oil (can use if any excess oil used for frying), add the ginger garlic paste and fry it till the color changes slightly.<\/li>\n<li>Then add green chillies followed by onion. Fry it until the onion became transparent.<\/li>\n<li>Now add the soy sauce, chilli sauce and vinegar.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the bell peppers and saut\u00e9 it for a minute and then add salt .<\/li>\n<li>Then add the fried chicken along with roasted cashews and mix it well; saut\u00e9 for a minute.<\/li>\n<li>Finally add the spring onion and mix well and switch off the stove.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/dragon-chicken\/dckn0\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2894\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2894\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN0.jpg\" alt=\"DCKN0\" width=\"640\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN0.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN0-150x53.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DCKN0-300x105.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tips:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I used boneless skinless chicken breast pieces.<\/li>\n<li>If you are using plain cashews (instead of roasted) oil fry it before using.<\/li>\n<li>Here I used homemade chilli paste.
