We used to carry <strong>burritos<\/strong> as a balanced bite while traveling, locally. Burrito is a type of Mexican\u00a0food, consisting of a wheat\u00a0flour tortilla\u00a0wrapped into a cylindrical shape to completely enclose the filling. Traditional Mexican Burritos will use multiple filling options including beans or rice. Here I used my own selections for filling; a mix of salsa, lettuce, chicken and guacamole.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>For ~ 10 Burritos\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For tortilla:-<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>All purpose flour\u00a0(Maida) : 2 \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li>Oil\u00a0 :\u00a0 2 T sp<\/li>\n<li>Water for kneading<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Chopped lettuce : 2 cup<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For tomato salsa:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Chopped tomato(Medium) : \u00a02<\/li>\n<li>Chopped Onion ( small) : \u00a0\u00bd<\/li>\n<li>Chopped cilantro : 3 Tbl-sp adjust<\/li>\n<li>Chopped jalape\u00f1o\u00a0 : 1 adjust<\/li>\n<li>Chopped\u00a0 green onion : 1 stem<\/li>\n<li>Lemon\u00a0Juice \u00a0 : \u00bd lemon (Adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For Chicken:-<\/p>\n<ol start=\"13\">\n<li>Boneless Chicken : 250 gm<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder : 3 T-sp (adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder : \u00bc T- sp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste\u00a0 : 2 T- sp<\/li>\n<li>Lemon juice : \u00a0\u00bd Lemon<\/li>\n<li>Oil\u00a0 : 3 T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Garam masala : \u00bc T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For guacamole see this \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/guacamole\/\">link<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><br \/>\nFor tortilla :-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a bowl add a little water and add salt and mix it , then add the all-purpose flour and knead it adding enough water to make a smooth, soft and non-sticky dough .<\/li>\n<li>Keep it for half an hour.<\/li>\n<li>Then take big lemon size balls of dough and roll it to thin circle tortilla.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a kadai\/ pan add the tortilla and wait for getting bubbles on the top and flip it and cook until getting light spots on the tortilla. Sprinkle some oil on the top and press it with a paper towel for evenly cooking.<\/li>\n<li>Do the same process to finish the entire dough- you should get about 10\u00a0tortillas out of it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For tomato salsa:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add all the ingredients mentioned for tomato salsa and mix it evenly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For chicken:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients for minimum an hour, (preferably overnight in the fridge for best taste).<\/li>\n<li>Preheat the oven into broil for high mode for about 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>In a greased oven safe dish, broil the chicken for about 10-15 and flip it and broil it for another 10 minutes or until cooked.
