I used readily available Tilapia fillets here for this recipe. You may use the fish fillets of your choice or shrimp, following the same process.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>For 5 Servings<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>For fish :<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fish fillets\u00a0 : \u00bd \u00a0Kg<\/li>\n<li>ChillI powder : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder : \u00bd T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste : 1 T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Oil for frying<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For Rice:<\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Basmati rice\u00a0 : 3 Cups<\/li>\n<li>Water\u00a0 : 4 \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li>Capsicum (big, cut sliced to finger style) : \u00a01<\/li>\n<li>Spring onion : 3 stems<\/li>\n<li>Green peas : \u00bd Cup<\/li>\n<li>Chopped onion(big) : \u00a01<\/li>\n<li>Chopped ginger :1 T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Chopped garlic\u00a0 : 2 Tsp<\/li>\n<li>Chilli sauce : 1 Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Soya sauce\u00a0 : \u00bd Tbl-sp<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder : 1 T-sp (adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Oil\u00a0 : \u00a03 T-sp<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut the fish into strips (finger style)<\/li>\n<li>Marinate the fish with chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger- garlic paste and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Keep it for an hour in the fridge.<\/li>\n<li>Then shallow fry the fish pieces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/fish-fried-rice\/fishfrying\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2644\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2644\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/FishFrying.jpg\" alt=\"FishFrying\" width=\"640\" height=\"210\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/FishFrying.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/FishFrying-150x49.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/FishFrying-300x98.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a pressure cooker add the rice, salt\u00a0and 4.5 cups of water and cook it for one whistle and reduce the flame for another 2 minutes and switch off.<br \/>\n(This is the method I normally used to cook my basmati rice. You can cook the rice with any method. Make sure rice shouldn&#8217;t be sticky or smashed.
