The rich presence of bell pepper makes this dish more nutritious as the bell pepper is a known source of vitamins and antioxidants. In addition, bell pepper gives an attractive aroma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Chicken \u00a0: 2 lb<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Onion (\u0d38\u0d35\u0d4b\u0d33 ) : 2 (Big)<\/li>\n<li>Bell pepper (capsicum) : 2 (Big)<\/li>\n<li>Spring Onion:\u00a0\u00a01 bunch (5 stems)<\/li>\n<li>Corn flour:\u00a0 1 Tbl &#8211; Sp<\/li>\n<li>Chilly powder: 1.5\u00a0 Tbl &#8211; Sp(Adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder: 2 TSp (T- Sp)<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric : \u00bd TSp<\/li>\n<li>Soya sauce: 1.5TSp (Adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Chilly sauce : 1 T- Sp (Adjust)<\/li>\n<li>Chopped Ginger: 1 TSp<\/li>\n<li>Chopped Garlic: 1 Tbl &#8211; Sp<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>Vegetable Oil:\u00a0 2 Tbl &#8211; Sp( Adjust)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder , chilly powder, pepper powder and salt ,rest it for minimum 1 hour. (I kept the chicken overnight\u00a0 into the fridge).<\/li>\n<li>cut the spring onions white parts into small pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the bell-pepper and onion in cubes and spring onion green parts in 1 inch long size.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in wide pan( preferably nonstick)<\/li>\n<li>Add the marinated chicken with corn flour &amp; fry it for ~10 mts in high flame. Stir it continuously to avoid sticking in the pan.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Then add the chopped ginger ,garlic and stir it about another 10 minutes during this time the chicken will cook and , almost change the color into light brown. (Add oil if needed while stirring)<\/li>\n<li>Add soya sauce, chilly sauce\u00a0 and fry it for another 3 mts.<\/li>\n<li>Add the chopped onion, white parts of the spring onion and\u00a0 salt , fry it\u00a0 for about 2 minutes in high flame.<\/li>\n<li>Then add\u00a0 the bell-pepper and saut\u00e9 it for about\u00a0 2- minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Finally add the green parts of the spring onion, and give a good saut\u00e9\u00a0 in high\u00a0 flame and switch off the stove.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Tips:-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Do not add water.<\/li><li>Oil, spices and salt can be adjusted to individuals taste.<\/li><li><strong>Do not<\/strong> cover the pan for the entire cooking.<\/li><li>Soya sauce has salt by its own so adjust the salt level accordingly<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A custom recipe -with an international touch- from my kitchen !!!.\u00a0This preparation uses marinated chicken with bell pepper (capsicum) and soy sauce as its main ingredients.
