In this recipe, I used whole-wheat instead, along with one of the best known healthy nut variety, walnut as enrichment, making it a perfect delight for kids and elders.\u00a0I categorized this cake recipe in to healthy though we have added sugar, which you may vary to your preference.<!--more--><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Atta \/wheat flour : 1 cup+ 1 Tsp<br \/>\n2. Coco powder : \u00bc cup<br \/>\n3. Baking soda : \u00bd T sp.<br \/>\n4. Milk : \u00bd cup+ 1 Tbl sp.<br \/>\n5. Chopped walnut : \u00bc cup<br \/>\n6. Sugar : \u00bd cup<br \/>\n7. Vegetable oil : \u00bc cup<br \/>\n8. Egg : 1<br \/>\n<strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Grease a loaf pan with oil and keep wax\/ parchment paper.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Preheat the oven 400 deg F .<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">In a big bowl add the oil , sugar and egg and beat it with the help of an electric beater for about 3-4 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Then add the milk and beat for another one minute.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/whole-wheat-nut-cake\/p2s_wc1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2062\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2062\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/P2S_WC1.jpg\" alt=\"P2S_WC1\" width=\"640\" height=\"321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/P2S_WC1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/P2S_WC1-150x75.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/P2S_WC1-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In an another bowl, add the 1 cup wheat flour, coco powder and baking soda and mix together for getting evenly. Add the flour mixture, little-by-little and while beating. Make sure not to have lumps in the batter.<\/li>\n<li>In a small bowl add the chopped walnuts and add 1 T-sp of wheat flour and mix it (if you add the nuts directly it will settle down in the batter) .<\/li>\n<li>Add the walnuts into the cake batter and fold it into the cake batter with a spatula.
