You can find this as a great combination for typical Kerala rice\/wheat breads such as <a href=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/appam\/\">Appam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/idiappam\/\">Idiappam<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/malabar-parotta\/\">Parotta<\/a>. A hot milk-tea going with this combo is very typical. The recipe uses sliced onions saut\u00e9 with oil (typically coconut oil), masala and spices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0Boiled Egg.\u00a0\u00a0: 3 nos<br \/>2.\u00a0Sliced Onion \u00a0\u00a0: 2 nos<br \/>3.\u00a0Garlic paste.\u00a0\u00a0: 1 tsp<br \/>4.\u00a0 Ginger paste\u00a0\u00a0: \u00bd tsp<br \/>5.\u00a0Green chilly.\u00a0\u00a0: 2 nos<br \/>6. Pepper powder\u00a0 \u00a0: 1 T- Sp<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Heat oil in a pan and add the onion, ginger-garlic paste, salt and green chillies. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Saut\u00e9 it until the onions became brown in color.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Add chilly powder, coriander powder , turmeric powder\u00a0 and half of the pepper powder and mix well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Stir the masala in a low heat , until the color turned to brown color.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Add\u00a0 1.5 cup of water and let it boil, then close the lid and cook for another 10 minutes\u00a0 in low heat.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>you can see the oil is oozing from the curry and the consistency of the curry is semi thick.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Add the egg ,curry leaves, fennel powder, 1 T- Spoon of coconut oil\u00a0 and half of the pepper powder; switch off the stove.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>close the lid and rest it for minimum 10 minutes before serving, this will keep the curry more flavourful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Egg masala (\u0d2e\u0d41\u0d1f\u0d4d\u0d1f \u0d2e\u0d38\u0d3e\u0d32 \/\u0d2e\u0d41\u0d1f\u0d4d\u0d1f\u0d15\u0d4d\u0d15\u0d31\u0d3f) is an absolute delight and great side dish for breakfast dishes.
