The dish makes excellent\u00a0finger snack with as starter or can be served as a side dish with Asian\u00a0main course\u00a0of rice or noodles. The typical recipe is with flour or maida or corn mixed with egg, but in this preparation I avoided those add-ins to make it more of a healthy diet.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><i>For frying fish(step1):-<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fish\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 kg<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 \u00bd TbL sp.<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bd \u00a0T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 :\u00a0 2 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Oil for frying<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b><i>For saut\u00e9ing (step2):-<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Onion\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00a02<\/li>\n<li>Bell pepper\/ capsicum\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Spring \/green onion\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 :\u00a0 3 stems<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Soy sauce\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 \u00bd T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Chilli sauce\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder : 1 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tsp<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marinate the fish with the step 1 ingredients except oil, for an hour .<\/li>\n<li>Cut the onion and capsicum in square pieces and cut the spring onion into small pieces.<\/li>\n<li>In a kadai \/ pan add enough oil and shallow fry the fish.<\/li>\n<li>Move the fish to another bowl.<\/li>\n<li>In the same pan, add the enough oil and add the onion along with ginger garlic paste and saut\u00e9 for ~3 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the soy sauce, chilli sauce pepper powder and chilli powder.<\/li>\n<li>Add salt at this point.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the capsicum and saut\u00e9 for another 2 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Add the spring onion and saut\u00e9 it for another 1 minute<\/li>\n<li>Add the fried fish and mix it carefully.<a style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\" href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/chilli-fish\/p2s_fc_steps\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1528\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1528\" alt=\"P2S_FC_Steps\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/P2S_FC_Steps.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/P2S_FC_Steps.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/P2S_FC_Steps-300x131.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/chilli-fish\/p2s_fc_st2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1529\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1529\" alt=\"P2S_FC_St2\" src=\"http:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/P2S_FC_St2.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/P2S_FC_St2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/pepper2salt.com\/sindhus-kitchen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/P2S_FC_St2-300x147.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tips:<br \/>\nQuantity of ingredients \/oil may vary individual taste..<br \/>\nQuantity of oil may vary individual taste.
