I still remember having this as evening snack- which my dad used to buy these while returning after work- along with hot tea. \u00a0The rich flavor of hot spices and garlic with the aroma of coconut oil makes it a perfect snack, which can be stored in an air tight container for days. \u00a0There is some possible healthy alternative to this preparation, by baking instead of oil frying. This recipe explains the conventional oil fried version.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Roasted peanuts\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Chilli powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 \u00bd T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : A pinch<\/li>\n<li>Hing (Asfoetida)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : A dash<\/li>\n<li>Garlic\u00a0 paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bd T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Crushed garlic\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 3 pods<\/li>\n<li>Besan\/ gram flour\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bd cup<\/li>\n<li>Rice flour\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Water for mixing<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Oil for frying<\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a bowl add the peanut along with chilli powder, turmeric, hing ,garlic paste, crushed garlic, besan, salt\u00a0 and rice flour .<\/li>\n<li>Then add a little water at a time and mix the ingredients. Water only needs for coating everything on to peanut.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a kadai\/ pan .
