C<b>halupa<\/b>\u00a0in traditional Spanish style is a tortilla made by pressing a thin layer of\u00a0dough around the outside of a small mold, in the shape of a boat. It is then filled with various ingredients such as shredded chicken\/meat, chopped onion, cheese, lettuce\u00a0 guacamole, and salsa.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Filling Mix: (<\/b><b>the quantity and selection can be adjusted for individual taste)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For salsa:-<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Tomato\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Onion\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1<\/li>\n<li>Jalape\u00f1o\u00a0 pepper\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Cilantro (chopped)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bc Cup<\/li>\n<li>Lemon\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bd<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Method<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chopped the tomato, onion and pepper into small pieces.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl add\u00a0the chopped ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Add enough salt and lemon juice. Mix everything together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tips: Adjust the lemon juice according to taste.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For Guacamole:-<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Avocado\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Jalape\u00f1o pepper\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Green onion\/spring onion\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 stem<\/li>\n<li>Cilantro : 5 stem<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Lemon\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bd<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Method<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chopped jalapeno, green onion and cilantro into small pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Take the flush from the avocado and smash it.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl add the avocado and chopped ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Add lemon juice and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Mix everything together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tips: May adjust the ingredients according to taste.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Corn Salsa:-<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Corn\u00a0 : 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Onion : 1<\/li>\n<li>Cilantro\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 5 stem<\/li>\n<li>Lemon : \u00bd<\/li>\n<li>Jalape\u00f1o pepper\u00a0\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Method<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cook the corn (do not overcook).<\/li>\n<li>Drain the water and let it cool completely.<\/li>\n<li>Chop the onion, pepper and cilantro into small pieces.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl put everything and add the salt and lemon juice.<\/li>\n<li>Mix everything together.<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span sp.<\/li>\n<li>Paparika powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : \u00bd T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Pepper\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Lemon\u00a0 juice\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00bd<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Method<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut the chicken into thin slices.<\/li>\n<li>Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat the oven to broil into high for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Brush the oven safe dish with oil\/ butter.<\/li>\n<li>Place the chicken in the dish and broil for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>After 10 minutes flip the chicken and broil for another 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the chicken into bite size.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For additional filling (<b> the quantity and selection can be adjusted for individual taste)<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sliced onions, bell pepper, tomato and avocados,<\/li>\n<li>shredded cheese,<\/li>\n<li>sour cream ,<\/li>\n<li>lettuce,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Jalape\u00f1o pepper.<em><strong>For making shell ( for 6-7 counts)<\/strong><\/em>\n<ol>\n<li>Maida (all purpose flour)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 :\u00a0 2 \u00bd cup<\/li>\n<li>Oil\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Baking powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Milk for kneading the dough<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a vessel add the flour , salt and baking powder.<\/li>\n<li>Add a little milk at a time to make a smooth dough.<\/li>\n<li>Finally add the oil and make a smooth dough.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the dough and keep it for half an hour.<\/li>\n<li>Take the dough and make 6-7 equal parts.<\/li>\n<li>Flatten each ball with the help of a roller pin .To avoid sticking use dry flour while flattening.<br \/>\nOnce made, it should be a little thicker than the normal puri.<\/li>\n<li>Heat enough oil in a kadai\/ pan and fry the chalupa shell one at a time until golden color.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finally fold the shell and add the fillings vegetarians, instead of chicken, use 1 cup of boiled (with salt) black OR Red beans<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Quantity and selection of filling may be varied for individual taste,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Chalupa will puff up while frying, that&#8217;s normal( before putting into the oil use the fork for putting small
