As the name indicates, it is rich in chilli-spice hot and is an excellent side dish to go with dishes like Malabar Parotta and Chapati. The preparation varies from kitchen to kitchen and a dry form of Chilli-chicken is also very common.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><b>Ingredients<\/b><\/p>\n<p><em id=\"__mceDel\">For chicken<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Chicken\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 kg<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 T sp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 :2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Chilli paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Soy sauce\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Chilli sauce\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Tomato sauce\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Egg\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1<\/li>\n<li>All-purpose flour : 4 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Corn flour\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 3 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<li>Oil for frying<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For sauce<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Onion\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 3<\/li>\n<li>Bell pepper\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1<\/li>\n<li>Spring onion\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 bunch<\/li>\n<li>Chilli sauce\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 4 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Soy sauce\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Vinegar\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 :1 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Tomato sauce\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Ginger garlic paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Green chilly paste\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Pepper powder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Corn flour\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 4 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Water\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Cups<\/li>\n<li>Sesame oil\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Oil\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 Tbl sp.<\/li>\n<li>Salt for taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Method<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marinate the chicken with the ingredients for chicken, except oil.<br \/>\nKeep the chicken minimum one hour for marinating( I kept it for 4 hours).<\/li>\n<li>Keep a deep bottom kadai\/pan and pour the oil.<\/li>\n<li>Once the oil is hot, fry the chicken until the color become brown.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the onions, bell pepper (capsicum ) into square piece.<br \/>\nHeat a kadai\/ pan and add the oil .<\/li>\n<li>Add the ginger, garlic and green chilly past and fry it for 2 minutes or until the raw smell gone.<\/li>\n<li>Add the onions and fry till the onions become translucent.
