We used to get it from our Christian neighbors during Christmas time. In the conventional way Orappam (<b>\u0d12\u0d30\u0d2a\u0d4d\u0d2a\u0d02)<\/b> is prepared in a special made earthen pot (<b>\u0d12\u0d30\u0d2a\u0d4d\u0d2a \u0d1a\u0d1f\u0d4d\u0d1f\u0d3f) <\/b>and baked with coconut shell charcoal fire. I used preheated oven and oven safe tray instead. The taste, I would say is close to the traditional method even here&#8230; Try it out!<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Rice flour\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 cup<\/li>\n<li>Thin coconut milk\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 3 cup<\/li>\n<li>Thick coconut milk\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 cup<\/li>\n<li>Water\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 cup<\/li>\n<li>Jaggery\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2 cup<\/li>\n<li>Egg\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1<\/li>\n<li>Egg white\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 2<\/li>\n<li>Fennel powder\u00a0\u00a0 : less than 1\/4 T sp.<\/li>\n<li>Ghee\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : 1\/4 cup.<\/li>\n<li>Coconut oil\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 :\u00a01\/4 cup.<\/li>\n<li>Cashew nuts<\/li>\n<li>Raisins<\/li>\n<li>Pea nut\/Cashew nut<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Orappam (\u0d12\u0d30\u0d2a\u0d4d\u0d2a\u0d02)\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/y-_UiGjkTO8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Break the eggs and beat well.<\/li><li>Boil 2 cups of water and add the jaggery .
