A popular Indian/ Pakistani dish consisting of roasted chicken prepared with yogurt and spices. Its a healthy non-veg dish as its uses less quantity of oil and also melts the chicken’ fat out.
Ingredients:
- Chicken leg (skinless) :4 nos
- Curd : 4 t sp.
- Papparikka Powder : 1 t sp.
- Ginger Garlic paste : 2 t sp.
- Turmeric : 1/2 t sp.
- Pepper powder : 1 t sp.
- Chilli powder : 2 t sp.
- Lemon Juce : 1 lemon.
- Tandoori masala.( Optional) : 1 t sp.
- Salt : to taste
- Oil : 3 t sp.
Preparation
- Take chicken legs, slightly make slits so that marination penetrates well into chicken .
- Make marination with ingredients 2 to 11 over night inside refrigerator (or minimum 3- 4 hrs)
- Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
- Keep the chicken in an aluminium tray.
- Cook for 45 to 55 minutes, flipping the chicken in every 12 mts, till the chicken is tender.
- Remove from oven, garnish with pepper powder, onion, chat masala and lime wedges.
