Green bean casserole is a casserole consisting of green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and french fried onions. I was thinking of this dish for quite a while to add to my international recipe category. Had to go on for couple of iterations to finally get it to my satisfaction.

Beans-boiling

  • Keep a kadai/ pan in the stove, add the butter and wait to melt.

GBC-2

  • In a bowl combine the bread crumbs and almonds .
  • Preheat the oven 350 degree Fahrenheit .
  • Grease an oven safe dish and fill the green beans sauce .

  • Bake it about 20-25 minutes. At this point the bubbles starts coming from the sides.

GBC-3

Tips:-

  • Here I used low fat cream of mushroom.
  • Don’t put salt in the beginning of the sauce preparation, because the cream of mushroom have salt.
  • Take tender beans for making this recipe.
