Salmon Broiled

Salmon is packed with omega-3s and protein. Making salmon as a fried fish dish, though make its tastier, but is un-healthy due to the added oil for frying. The recipe I have here a healthy alternative to enjoy the taste of fried dish without any added oil. Broiling makes this fish equally tasty as fried, because of the rich content of self-contained (fish) oil.

Ingredients

  1. Salmon      : 750g
  2. Chilli powder     : 1 Tbl. sp
  3. Turmeric powder   : ½  T sp.
  4. Pepper powder     :1 T sp.
  5. Ginger garlic paste     : 2 T sp.
  6. Lemon juice : 1
  7. Salt for taste

Method

  • Cut the salmon into desired shape and put deep gashes.
  • Marinate the fish with above ingredients for ~ 30 minute.
  • Pre-heat the oven to broil for 10 minutes in high setting.
  • Take an oven safe dish/pan and brush it with a little oil .
  • Place the fish into the dish and broil the fish to about 10 minutes.
  • Flip the fish to other side and broil it for another 10 minutes.

Tips:-
Quantity of ingredients may be varied individual taste.
Don’t use glass dish for broiling.
More browning needs a few more minute.
